This flash is amazing. Perfect audio, smooth graphics, great animation and extremely hilarious. "Let's make like a tree and the the f*** out of here!" Me and my friends used to quote that line every day. I was going to take one point off cause of the tweening, but the animation was much better than most tweening movies.
I'm gonna be an annoying fanboy and say 11/10.

The sequel in my opinion is a load of crap. The only thing that seems to of changed is the stability (for the worse.) I love the way your first 2 projectiles automatically have 100% stability in this. Every other shot doesn't blow up. I can't tell you how much I hate the sequel. This is one of my favorite games on newgrounds. I love using a slingshot-esque thing to blow a bunch of tanks. It's so addictive.

"Not as good as the original"

Not as good as the original for one reason. Stability. You start off with a 1 in 4 chance of the projectile blowing up. Every other shot blew up for me. I finally managed to level up, and all the pints went to stability. I had a 3% chance of it blowing up. I fired about 13 shots. 2 of them still blew up. Maybe it's just my bad luck, or maybe it's an actual bug. But it ruins the whole game for me.

I don't have much to say about it though. Smooth graphics, good sound, all the usual aspects of a good game. I somehow killed the monster thing at the end. Too short though. But that doesn't affect the rating.

Yet so hard. I can only make it to level 3 wave 27. But I can't stop playing. It's one of the best defense games out there! Making a maze of vulcan turrets is a great - and fairly cheap - way to win the first couple of levels. Upgrading helps alot with that strategy. I can't imagine making it to level 6. I'm going to be an annoying fan boy and say that it deserves 11/10.

Although, to the guy before me, he didn't make the sprites. Pretty interesting, and it had ok animation (for a sprite movie.) You get extra points for it being a Paper Mario movie. I think I'm done reviewing Paper Mario movies for now

I remember I used to whatch this all the time and lmao'd every time I watched it. I thought the animation was amazing and everything about it was amazing. But looking back on it, it isn't that great. I barely even cracked a smile. The animation was just a bunch of slow tweens, making it look like they're floating. The "lip syncing" is just a looping movie clip. Near the end you got sloppy with that and forgot to stop it sometimes. I think using tweens instead of fbf makes it look like you traced it, but bowser was very obviously not traced. You also had the screen blank when he was opening the door to bowsers forretress, putting the coin wherever he had to put it and going through his pockets so you didnt have to animate that. But the voice the voice acting was amazing I must add (except for bowser of course.:P). Over all, I guess It's an above average (considering all the crap we have in the portal.) And you get extra points because paper mario 1&2 are some of my favorite video games.
